Our Process
Beckflintlocks is frequently studying original arms in museums, private collections, and auction houses. We are continuously researching 18th century arms making techniques and finishes to create a rifle that is hand built and authentic.
Our Services
Beckflintlocks has a passion for recreating authentic Longrifles and documentary component parts for Longrifles. Assembling kits when asked, and making and experimenting with traditional wood finishes.
JP Beck Rifle By JD Beck
A contemporary rendition of a John Philip Beck Rifle by descendan JD Beck. Rifle was built from a blank of hard maple, Rice barrel, Brooks Lock castings, and all custom hardware, made using Traditional techniques.

Beckflintlocks is offering sandcasted copies of JP Beck butt plates and trigger guards. Side plates cut from 1/8 brass, trigger plates from 1/8 steel, forged triggers, patchbox latch and levers.
